Budd RDC Rail Diesel Car
Budd announced the RDC (Rail Diesel Car)in 1949. Some are still in use. One successful operation was between Bridgeport and Waterbury, Connecticut. Now that they are disappearing, many of us tend to forget about Rail Diesel Cars (RDC).

ND&C RR from Dutchess Junction to Matteawan
The Central New England Railway (CNE) / Newburgh, Dutchess and Connecticut Railroad between Dutchess Junction and Matteawan. Dutchess Junction is on the east bank of the Hudson River just south of Beacon NY. Fishkill Landing and Matteawan were combined into the City of Beacon in 1913. The first mayor of Beacon was a former ND&C RR conductor named Frost.
